This would prevent any interactions with the side wall or back walls of your TV set for best performance. The speakers should also be placed at the hearing level when seated about 35" to 42" inches off the floor. Having the speakers slightly angle or toed inward towards the prime listening area will help improve the hearing quality.

For the Center Speaker, place the speaker directly on top or below the TV screen for the ideal sound system. This speaker position is the most important part of the audio sound system do to the fact it handles most of the soundtrack for the TV screen does. If the center speaker sounds different from the Left/Right front speakers, this could be caused by the audio being reflected off the TV screen even when all speakers are perfectly match. Your center speaker channel should have controls for adjusting performance for your audio sound systems. This offer a more adequate way measure and make proper adjustments for improved listening pleasure.
